Our Credo

We believe we are:
Not only a school, but a Community of faith;
Not only students, but Children of God;
Not only educators, but Ministers of the Gospel;
Not only character development, but a call to holiness;
Not only academic pursuits, but a Search for Truth;
Education is not only for personal gain and the development
of society, but for the Transformation of the World.

Belief Statement

1. We believe that student learning is the chief priority for the school, and as stakeholders we are called to assist parents with the education of their children.

2. We believe that each child is unique in God’s eyes and that all students have the capability to learn if provided with a variety of instructional approaches and learning experiences.

3. We believe that students learn best when they have appropriate opportunities for success such as a safe, positive, and comfortable environment.

4. We believe that we are all called to proclaim and live the mission of St. Mary’s School by being faith-filled followers of Jesus.

5. We believe that faith and Christian values are to be infused throughout the curriculum.

6. We believe that education is an ongoing, developmental process.

7. We believe that St. Mary’s School and the quality of education that it offers is the direct result of the combined efforts of the teachers, pastor, students, parents, staff, and parishioners.
